This place is incredible! They have what appears to be every species of wood, and in varying thicknesses such as 4/4. And their prices are very reasonable. The staff and workers are very helpful as well. I'm already making my Christmas list!

Went here for the first time today. Their least expensive birch plywood is far better than Home Depot or Lowes BEST. Service was great. They helped me pick out the right wood for my project and steered me towards the less expensive option because the wood would be covered. They cut my 4x8 sheet down to four 2 foot x 4 foot sheets, loaded it into my truck, and all for less than the big box stores. I was in and out in 10 minutes. It takes me that long to find someone who can operate the saw at a big box store. If you're buying Birch Ply for loudspeaker enclosures, buy it here! I have a couple more projects going and I'll be back for a couple more sheets of ply and some lumber.

I moved north of Conroe so It had been several years since I'd been here. Just dropped in and remembered why I liked Houston Hardwoods so much. Excellent quality hardwoods, great selection, well organized, and good/fair prices. What's not to like?!?!
